nomnom… Making some MICHIGAN FOOD! Pasties were a traditional food for the copper miners in “da U.P.” (The Upper Peninsula of Michigan). Ground beef, ground sausage, Italian sausage, potatoes, carrots & rutabagas in a crust tough enough to withstand the miner’s journey down the shafts and tunnels. Usually eaten with ketchup or chicken gravy. #tribe #blog http://ift.tt/1ylD64O
